Service Description

This short training focuses on HVT structural manipulations of the typical cervical vertebrae (C3 to C7) and the first rib, exclusively in the prone position. It is designed for licensed osteopaths wishing to expand their technical skillset with safe, effective, and comfortable posterior variants. The course has a dual objective: to improve precision when manipulating the mid and lower cervical vertebrae, and to master a refined, respectful technique for releasing the first rib, often involved in thoracic outlet syndromes and cervico-scapular tension patterns. Working in the prone position offers excellent control of contacts, optimal adaptation to patient morphology, and a relevant alternative to supine or seated techniques. Each manipulation is broken down step by step: practitioner positioning, point of contact, locking, thrust vector, and dosage. This hands-on training is delivered in a very small group (2 to 4 participants) to ensure personalized supervision, fine corrections, and real technical progress.
